Twilight Saga

I always go into bookstores and just scan through the new books displayed in the best seller table. While I was in NYC, either I go to Borders of Barnes and Nobles and spend hours their just waiting for time. The book cover in black and red with an apple held by ivory white skin hands caught my eyes. I read the summary at the back of the book and immediately I wanted to buy it.

Twilight is a story of a teenage girl, Bella Swan from Phoenix Arizona who relocated to Forks, a different environment from the place she grew up. She stayed with her father Charlie and went to school in Forks High School. There she met the angelic beautiful family of the Cullens. They seemed to have a group of their own, but as the days went buy Bella falls for Edward Cullen, her seatmate in Biology class who acted very weird in their first meeting. Little did Bella know that Edward is a vampire and the smell of Bella's blood makes him to want her more. Eventually they fall in love as the lion fell for the lamb. Together they prove their love for each other as they learn from their differences.

Newmoon seemed boring for me after reading twilight. It introduces Jacob Black, the best friend of Bella with another characteristic as a werewolf . Bella discovers that her bestfriend falls in love with her also.

Eclipse follows Newmoon and features the clash between Edward and Jacob as Bella loves them both.

Breaking Dawn is the last book of the Saga. It finishes the story between Bella and Edward and also Jacob as part of the family. I was disappointed with the last book because the story ended quickly as it may have been expounded to excite the readers.

I like Twilight the most because it was written to tingle the senses. It is written in Bella's point of view so ladies can very much relate (I think men too coz I've seen a lot of men buying the book in bookstores!) but I will be waiting for Midnight Sun, the retelling of Twilight in Edward's point of view. hmmm..exciting!
