I really wanted to watch ze play 3 years ago and it waz reztaged 6 times before(it even had a film for the Metro Manila Film Fest) and finally I was able to watch the matinee show last February 15, 2009.
The play is funny, amusing, and very Pinoy. The story surrounds around Ada the baklush parlorista with Didi the assistant. Ada transforms into a vuluptuous superhero whenever he swallows the pink stone (from outer space that fell into him while taking a bath) and shouts "Zaturnnah". She then fights the crimes in their barannggay and eventually saves the man of his dream, Dodong. Though hesitant to have a relationship with Dodong because of Ada's previous relationship which turned out bad, at the end of the story, Dodong finally falls in love with Ada and asks him to give him a chance.
The story is homosexual but I didn't really focus on it because I was watching ze play staged by Tanghalang Pilipino as a whole. Eula Valdes as ZsaZsa Zaturnnah is fresh. She has a good voice and she even is flexible showing her kicks and splits. I loved somehow the character of Didi, the ever loyal assistant/bff of Ada. The play is laugh trip as if I was watching a stand up comedy in the Little Theater of CCP. I was dismayed though because Arnold Reyes didn't play Dodong in the afternoon show. Well, overall ze play is gay literally and metaphorically.=)
