Movies to watch soon
so far I have listed the movies I want to watch as soon as they reach the Big Screen1. "Street Fighter-The Legend of Chun Li" - stars Kristin Kreuk, she's so fragile to be Chun Li..but we'll see
2. "Dragon Ball Evolution" - ok, I'm not an anime fan but the trailer seems very interesting. A lot of action!
3. "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" - Not a comic book fan either! Don't you want to know about Logan's past? yes Hugh Jackman =)
4. "Angels and Demons" - the sequel to Dan Brown's book Da Vinci Code.
5. "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" - Do we really need to wait this long? The lead actors are already growing as to how old they are suppose to be in the film.
6. "New Moon" - Unlike HP, this one follows Twilight right away which was shown last year. The fans are really anticipating this.
7. "UP" - Another Pixar animated movie, the trailer is cute!hehe! I like the old man's house xD
8. "Phoebe in Wonderland" - interesting story about a young girl
9. "The Secret of Moonacre" - fantasy and adventure, starring Dakota Blue Richards ( The Golden Compass)
10. What can you add to make it top ten?=)

ReplyDeleteHello! Here are my recommendations:
ReplyDelete1. Veronika Decides To Die - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YtcZhIrhAaY&feature=fvst
2. The Time Traveler's Wife - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG8s3oT02UM
3. Where the Wild Things Are - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NOkQ4dYVaM
These three movies are based on best selling books. The 1st movie is a novel from Paulo Coelho, VDTD is one of my favorite books and for that reason alone i want to see the movie. The second one, i haven't able to read yet but i hear its good and the cast looks perfect for the roles they play. The 3rd movie is a from a children's book, well i base it on the director of the movie (Spike Jonze) and just because the trailer itself is cool.
Hopefully they wont disappoint us. Check out the links.
P.S. I hope you will recognize me... ;-)
I recently observed that movies today are based from books. I'm not sure if they are running out of great stories to produce in movies or that the books are worth a movie to make, but so far books that I've read then watched in the cinemas disappointed me. oh well..
ReplyDeleteI've been checking out The Time Traveller's Wife in the bookstores but I didn't buy it yet coz the story is similar to another book..I just forgot the title =p
